A New revolution – Internet and Mass media
21st century has witnessed the very best in technology and also in living standards so is the life in this planet. Life has changed steadily carving the new methodologies in life. Information Technology has become the inevitable of the youth community hence leading to a knowledge revolution. Emergence of English as the global language had lead to the widespread of internet and mass media.
This century has seen some silent revolutions, particularly through and by the youth. This article will try to retrospect the means and medium the catholic youth has employed in the last decade in revolutionizing this globe. Catholics are called to be the messengers of Lord Jesus throughout the life, spreading the fragrance of love of God. Perhaps this was not made a practice across the majority of current generation catholic youth. Reason behind this is the reluctance of catholic youth towards the Catholic Church leading towards the desertion of the catholic morality and humanitarian attitude. The Church has voyaged through the centuries by upholding The Name of Jesus and thinking through the centuries. But I think we were late in thinking through the current generation at least among this generation youth. “It is better to be late than never”. It’s high time that we should have laymen and clergy who walk with the youth and guide them towards the righteousness. Today’s youth is more focused towards the negative or even they are made to do so by the communication channels they employ.
We should have strong epicenters in the midst of this world which will act as a magnet towards The Lord. We’d John Paul II, Mother Theresa, St Padre Pio etc who were the living role models in their time. While reading this if you have a question “WHY SHOULD I” then it’s your turn now. Indeed the revolution starts from within. Even if you don’t turn out to be a Mother Theresa or John Paul II your close proximities will be energized through this revolution. This was the same in the case of Lord Jesus when he was crucified on the mount of Calvary, no one recognized him as the revolutionary of LOVE OF GOD but the GOD had a plan for this planet which has lead to the growth of Catholic Church through the martyrs. Yes, this is the right time to start the revolution; a silent revolution within us which will bring the everlasting LOVE OF GOD in this planet.
